Bio:
Sometimes we need a listening ear or someone to walk with us in a dark and confusing season. Many times, over my life, I too needed support and help from a counselor. Looking back, I wish I had a counselor as a child and teen. We were not made to walk through life alone. I believe children process life through play, so play therapy can be a tremendous benefit for a child. I hold a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary, but my path to becoming a counselor began as a child of missionary parents on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation. With over a decade of experience, I've dedicated myself to blending ministry and mental health work in diverse environments, ranging from group homes to educational institutions. My clinical expertise spans several areas focusing on helping individuals with anxiety, depression, spiritual issues, behavioral challenges, grief and loss, and mood regulation. My ultimate goal is to empower my clients with the tools and support they need to not only cope but thrive, regardless of age. I hope to support my clients by addressing individual needs as they navigate the process of change.
